The router is an indispensable part of today’s woodshop. It’s a versatile tool that can be brought to bear on any number of shop solutions. If you are not comfortable with your router yet or would like to learn more about its use and applications, this two-day class is a great opportunity to become a competent and safe router user. Andy will cover both the router itself and router bits as well as the design and creation of the basic types of jigs and fixtures that make a router so key to contemporary woodworking. Bring your router and a selection of bits to use during the session, or we can supply you with one. If you would like to purchase one to use for the class, we can suggest a less expensive but appropriate model.
Each Student should bring:
Router, if you own one
All router cutters you own
