Once you know the basics of finishing, then you’ll be able to protect and enhance your woodworking projects with a well-applied finish. But there is so much more you can do!
Techniques such as glazing, dying, shading, color correction, waxing, and multi-layer finishes will allow you to push your woodworking projects from “nice” to “WOW!,” and give you a whole new dimension of design possibilities. These techniques and knowledge will also greatly improve the success of any repairs or restorations you might undertake in the future.
