RTB101B23 Router Basics

February, 16 - February, 17 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST

Do you know everything your router can do?

The router is an indispensable part of today’s woodshop, but this versatile tool has even more applications than most people realize.

Join master craftsman, Raul to learn all about the safe and creative use of the router, as well as the bits, jigs, and fixtures that make this tool so incredibly useful.

No matter what experience you’ve had with the router, you’ll leave this two-day class as a confident and competent router user.

Each day will feature a mix of presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on practice — including making and assembling your own box for storing router bits.

Bring your own router and bits or use ours. If you would like to purchase a router in advance of the class and would like some guidance on what to buy, feel free to email director@sw-sw.org. We’ll be happy to help.

You will learn: Router functions and safety; basic router use; cutters, collars, collets, and fences and how to use them; and design, construction, and use of basic router jigs.

You will learn:
