JBX101I23 Classic Jewelry Box

September, 16 - September, 17 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST

$386.00

Sometimes the box is more exciting than what’s inside. Case in point? The one you can make in our upcoming weekend workshop.

In this popular two-day class, you will make a beautiful, heirloom quality jewelry box, perfect for filling with a little bling for that special someone.

However, this beautiful box can be used for much more than jewelry. And it’ll look great no matter what it holds.

With an inlay tray, rabbet joints, miter fold joints, and piano hinges, this box is a showpiece for woodworking techniques. And you can customize it by selecting contrasting woods including sepele and your choice of birdseye maple or ribbon sepele.

Honestly, you might just want to keep it for yourself.

Master Craftsman, Raul, will guide you through the steps necessary to complete this project. And along the way, you’ll learn some serious craftsmanship skills, too.

You will learn:

  • miter fold joints
  • rabbet joints
  • gluing up a box
  • making the internal tray
  • setting the piano hinge
  • preparing the surface for finish

Open to all skill levels, beginners welcome.Raul
