Dive into furniture-making with this immersive weekday class.
Running weekdays from April 14–22, this class packs our popular evening Fundamentals III class into a convenient daytime option for woodworkers who already have some basic experience with woodworking concepts, tools, and techniques.
In just seven total days (April 14–April 18 and April 21–22), you will develop more advanced skills and refine your craftsmanship by building a classic side table in a focused and supportive environment.
This heirloom quality, solid wood table incorporates several traditional joinery techniques, including a dovetailed drawer and mortise-and-tenoned aprons.
With personalized instruction from master furniture-maker Raúl Ramírez, you will develop your hand-tool skills including sharpening and shaping, along with additional advanced techniques.
You will learn:
- advanced hand and power tool use
- shaping with hand tools
