Make a Native American Flute
Make your own flute. This is an 8-hour class, in two sessions, 4 hours the first day and 4 hours the second. We will need time for the glue to properly dry. The Flute will be made of Walnut.
Day 1. Saturday Aug. 15 from 9:00am to 1:00pm
Day 2. Sunday Aug.16 from 11:00am to 3:00pm
We have had many requests to repeat this workshop so this is the fourth time we are offering it and look forward to having a fun and rewarding time. Leland is a master flute maker and he knows how to play it.
You will learn:
to process the blanks cut them in half
shape the blanks
make the fetish
how to locate and drill the sound holes tune the flute
This will be a fun and rewarding class, come join the fun.
If you have a “special” piece of wood please feel free to bring it. The minimum size must be 25″ long and 1-1-2 inches square
Clase Minimum= 4, Maximum = 8

The second day will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
