CBD101L24 Elegant Cutting Boards

December 7 @ 9:00 am - December 8 @ 3:00 pm

$299.00

We all know that the best gifts are handmade, and we’ve got a great idea that will delight anyone who loves to cook or entertain.

These elegant cutting and serving boards make stunning gifts — and a great learning opportunity, too!

In this fun two-day class, each student will make two custom cutting boards featuring ribbon inlays in a beautifully shaped maple base. In addition to creating one-of-a-kind gifts, you’ll practice important woodworking skills including gluing up a wide surface, bent lamination, and router techniques.

We’ll finish each board with food-safe protectant so they are ready for giving — or keeping.

You will learn:
• Edge gluing
• Jointing and planing
• Router use
• Template routering
• Sanding and finishing

Prerequisite: None. Beginners are welcome.

Tools required: All tools and materials supplied by the school. Please bring ear and eye protection and a safety mask.

Please read and understand our Refund and Cancellation Policies. By making payment you acknowledge that you have read and understood these policies.
