CBD101E23 Elegant Cutting Board Workshop with Doug Forsha

May 6 @ 9:00 am - May 7 @ 3:00 pm

$264.00

We all know that the best gifts are handmade, and we’ve got a great idea for anyone who loves to cook.

This elegant cutting and serving board is perfect for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations, and weddings.

In this fun two-day class, each student will make two custom cutting boards featuring ribbon inlays in a beautifully shaped maple base. In addition to creating one-of-a-kind gifts, you’ll practice important woodworking skills including gluing up a wide surface, bent lamination, and router techniques.

We’ll finish each board with food-safe protectant so they are ready for giving — or keeping.

You will learn:
• Edge gluing
• Jointing and planing
• Router use
• Template routering
• Sanding and finishing

This popular workshop is limited to nine students and fills up quickly. If demand exceeds capacity, we may add an afternoon session.
