BCS101B23 Bookcase Workshop
Build a Bookcase is one of our most popular weekend workshops — and for good reason! In just two days, you’ll build a versatile and attractive bookcase inspired by classic Arts & Crafts design that will look great in any decor.
The bookcase features two adjustable shelves, plus the bottom shelf and top, for plenty of storage space. Made in your choice of either Ash or Cherry wood, you’ll end up with a beautiful and functional piece of furniture that you can use and display proudly.
The finished bookcase measures 35″ wide and 36″ tall by 13″ deep. The top is 37” wide by 15”deep and you can choose to have it overhang by 1” all around or have it flush with the back.
You will learn:
- project layout
- domino joinery
- panel lay-up
- assembly techniques
- how to prepare wood for finishing.
By the end of the weekend, you will have a completed bookshelf ready for the finish of your choice, as well as new skills that will serve you for years to come.
Tools required: All tools and materials supplied.
